“A division of the American Library Association has voted to remove Laura Ingalls Wilder’s name from a major children’s book award over concerns with how the early-to-mid 20th century author portrayed blacks and Native Americans.
The Association for Library Service to Children’s board made the unanimous decision Saturday at a meeting in New Orleans. The name has been changed to the Children’s Literature Legacy Award.
The association says the work of Wilder — best known for her “Little House on the Prairie” novels — “includes expressions of stereotypical attitudes inconsistent with ALSC’s core values.”
The first award was given to Wilder in 1954. The ALSC says Wilder’s work continues to be published and read but her “legacy is complex” and “not universally embraced.”

Last year it was Dr. Seuss and Pippi Longstocking that were deemed racist and inappropriate for children of the cultural revolution. Now some of the most wholesome and moral children’s books are being censored because – well – they aren’t so “wholesome” after all.
It’s more important for White children to accept transgenderism than it is to understand the value of a humble Christian spirit and strong family ties.

because of english heritage anti white anti english actions many have cancelled their membership many feel its a betrayal of years of support so what next is english heritage going to attack
If someone were to do in-depth research into the 19th century and before, one would find that most people at that time would now be deemed “racist” and “bigot,” even if simply for their moral values. Even the beloved “liberator” Abraham Lincoln would now be labeled “racist,” if his full character and certain attributed statements were “officially” examined.
It should be acknowledged that if such institutions are staunch to do away with this, they are willing to do away with the rest of our traditional American, and for that matter European, heritage and culture.
