Dearborn Mayor Jack O’Reilly, already under fire for killing the current issue of the city-funded Dearborn Historian because it carried a report on Henry Ford’s “antisemtic” tour de force “The International Jew,” has now fired the magazine’s editor:
Veteran Detroit journalist Bill McGraw, who was the Historian’s part-time editor, said he was informed of his dismissal Wednesday afternoon by Jack Tate, curator of the Dearborn Historical Museum.
“I continue to be puzzled by the mayor’s actions, which are just bringing more readers to the story he wanted to ban,” McGraw said. “The Dearborn Historical Museum is caught in the middle, and I have nothing but respect for the museum and the people associated with it.”
O’Reilly has not explained why he ordered the museum staff not to mail out the magazine. He and spokeswoman Mary Laundroche have not returned reporters’ calls this week.
The Historian, a quarterly, upset city hall when it arrived from the printer last week with a 10-page cover story that marked the 100th anniversary of Ford buying the Dearborn Independent weekly newspaper, which he used to attack Jews. The Historian story went into great detail on how Ford and his lieutenants spent millions spreading Ford’s anti-Semitic ideas, which flourish today on extremist websites and forums.
The Historian has no Internet presence. With its permission, Deadline Detroit published McGraw’s story, “Henry Ford and ‘The International Jew,’” last Friday, and it has spread far beyond the magazine’s small circulation, with O’Reilly’s order to suppress it further stoking interest. Deadline Detroit, Jalopnik, Michigan Radio, WDET-FM and the Jewish News have reported the story; CNBC interviewed McGraw Wednesday.
McGraw, 67, a Dearborn resident, was a Free Press reporter and editor for 37 years. He founded Deadline Detroit with current editor Allan Lengel, but has not been involved with the site for several years.
Readers were critical of the mayor after Deadline Detroit reported the other day that he planned to put the kibosh on mailing the controversial issue to subscribers.
“This is a huge mistake. Puts him in league with southern mayors protecting confederate statues,” wrote Matt Hollerbach in the comment section of the story. “Also, Nazis were super into censorship as well.”
“Puts the mayor in the same league as those Germans who burned books,” wrote Alan Harman.
[The Dearborn Historical Commission Thursday night passed a resolution that supports the article and its author, Bill McGraw, and asks that Mayor Jack O’Reilly allow the magazines that he is holding hostage to be mailed to subscribers.
The resolution is not binding on the mayor. The vote was unanimous, with one abstention.]
There can be little doubt that the Mayor was merely following orders from some powerful Jews in the Detroit area who wanted this article quashed.
The Jews would like nothing more than to see the true history of Henry Ford fade into the mists of time — ironically, with the help of Henry Ford’s own money-grubbing descendants.
The Jews have never successfully refuted any historical facts that appeared in “The International Jew” — instead they have merely smeared it as an irrational antisemetic “screed” full of typical antisemitic “canards.”
But if “The International Jew” were full of obvious lies, then why try to censor it if censoring it will just make people more curious about reading it.
Reality is that the book is very persuasive because it is exhaustively researched with tons of historical proofs.
Henry Ford thought this book was so important to America’s future that he offered a free copy to everyone who bought a Ford automobile — over ten million copies were in circulation at one point.
Obviously, Henry Ford was willing to put his reputation on the line for this book, which should make any open-minded American curious as to what’s inside it.

Thanks Flanders! I hadn’t read the compilation in its entirety for quite a few years now. As I begin reading again, I am starkly reminded of the 2 fundamental errors on Mr. Ford’s part that were, IMO, the biggest obstacles for cementing his otherwise well researched understanding of the “International Jew” in the hearts and minds of the then majority white Christian American public: That the jews were actually a distinct branch of the white race, and that they were the “people of the Bible”. Those 2 fundamental errors have helped obfuscate what poor Mr. Ford was trying to clarify…that the jews were indeed a distinct race of people, and that their inherent behavioral traits as that distinct people, which are made manifest as a distinct people group, are a danger to the rest of the world. By unwittingly propagating the understanding that jews are white AND the “Israelites” of the Bible, he helped to confuse the very same jewish question he hoped to clarify. While he shed a great light onto their dark dealings, he gave them deeper holes to crawl in, hide, and disguise even further. Not that I’m trying to demonize Mr. Ford’s courageous endeavor – just trying to put it in the proper perspective. Minus those two errors, Mr. Ford’s work is impeccable on the subject 😉
I agree with your analysis absolutely, Ottify, and you’ve explained Ford’s error very well.
Ford must have had influence somewhere along the line from some of the already mislead “one”-seedline British Freemasonic sources which probably is what caused his mistake. If he had known and expressed the essential dual-seedline knowledge he would not have made that mistake. He did do a very good job otherwise of explaining about the jew problem, and I especially thought he did good on the ending part of his articles, too.
Ford was never “anti-semitic”. It’s not at all about anti-semitism, and it never has been. It is about being anti-Subversives, toward the intentional [but, whitish-skinned] jewish racial and national terrorists and traitors.
It’s about their globalization creep utilizing secret operations conducted behind the shifty veil of a supposed “religion”, which has never been theirs, unifying for themselves to become intentional international oppressors of everyone else.
I find the comments published in the article to be highly amusing. More evidence surfacing of God using the jews’ evil for good. The comments are nothing but Jewish propaganda lies that are coming back to bite them in the ass. The story of Joseph is a prime example of God using evil for good. God doesn’t perpetrate evil, therefore should never be blamed for it. But he uses it against itself for the purposes of fulfilling his perfect will. And in this place and time, we have a gold mine of evil that will collapse upon itself and disintegrate into nothing, ushering in the 2nd Coming!

And yes, Confederate statues SHOULD be protected and the NSDAP were amateurs at propaganda compared to cnn, abc, nbc etc.
