What do you say to Christian’s [like my mom] who think Jews are all good because the Bible says they are the “chosen” people? I have told her that the Chosen people and the true Jews are the Followers of Jesus Christ, but she doesn’t believe that.
The reason they were “chosen” has nothing to do with being good or not. God Almighty has punished them repeatedly for their many evils. He “chose” them for tasks, not because he had any special love for them. the ultimate task was for them to bring salvation to the world. They have still not done so, but that prophecy will ultimately be fulfilled by the 144000 descendants of 12 of 14 tribes of Israel. If people would read the Bible several times they’d understand these matters. God specifically told Moses to tell the people before they entered the “promised land” that he didn’t give the land to them bc they were good (bc they weren’t); he gave it to them bc of the evil of the inhabitants (cannanites, hittites, etc.) Same reason he gave the American continents to Europeans.
Chris, today’s Jews are not real Israelites, so they weren’t “chosen” for anything. They are imposters. Read and learn:

Maybe instead of correcting others, you should read your Bible again, because God, in fact, loved/loves Israel despite their iniquities, and He repeated that love in many places:

No one can show me where the Bible says Jews were the chosen, Israel ,YES. This comes from incorrect teaching in theological seminaries and an ignorance of the old testament and History including Bible History..
Israel was divided into two houses after the reign of Solomon namely the house of Israel and the house of Judah. The house of Israel was taken into captivity on two expeditions by the Assyrians, and it is often missed that a large company of the tribe of JUDHA was also taken. If you read the Bible its all there but very few people take note of that. That means many of all 12 tribes were taken and dispersed becoming the so called” lost tribes “including much of Judah.
The house of Judah around Jerusalem was taken many years later into Babylon and only about 40,000 came back to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and the temple. Again it’s all in the Word.
A lot happened between the books of Malachi and Matthew , of which can be found in the Apocrypha. At the first event of Messiah, He found a mixed multitude in Jerusalem.
It occurs to me that only a few were true Judahites and those were His sheep and followed Him. The ones who crucified him were not His sheep and were responsible for His death. More notice of His words in the Gospels must be read with the understanding about how Yashua dealt with the Jews and what He called them. Matthew 12:34,, John 8:37-47. He called Judas a devil also.
Why do theologians gloss over the words of Yashua, when He said He came only for the lost tribes of Israel? Matthew 10.6, Matthew 15:24, John 10:14-16 and 26 and 27.
Question ?? Was the Gospel a success story ,or shall I say did the disciples get the gospel to the lost sheep? I say yes!!, who grasped the gospel, who has the Bible in their homes and spread the Gospel? Its the white race and today we are hated for that by evil people.
In Mathew 24 Yashua prophesied the destruction of the temple in 70 AD. I firmly believe those Jews that survived the Roman destruction ,wound up in Khazaria eventually and are today the Ashkenazi Jews and have absolutely no connection to the tribe of Judah NONE.
