US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday took time out of his busy schedule to voice his outrage and call for a formal investigation to determine who is responsible for etching a swastika in an elevator at the State Department:
Officials said they had launched an investigation into how the symbol of Nazi Germany was scraped into the wood paneling of an elevator in the Harry S. Truman Building, the secure headquarters of American diplomacy in central Washington.
Blinken, who is on a visit to India, sent a message to State Department employees to call the graffiti discovered late Monday “completely abhorrent.”
“It’s a painful reminder that antisemitism isn’t a relic of the past; it’s still a force that we’re dealing with in the world and unfortunately we’re dealing with it close to home,” State Department deputy spokeswoman Jalina Porter said as she quoted Blinken’s message.
“It has to be said that antisemitism has no place in the United States and certainly has no place in the State Department.”
Blinken, a secular Jew whose stepfather survived Nazi death camps, last month on a visit to Berlin launched an effort with Germany to combat resurgent antisemitism, including by stepping up education on the Holocaust as survivors pass away.
Blinken warned at the time that Holocaust denial and other antisemitism “often go hand-in-hand with homophobia, xenophobia, racism, other hatred” and is a “rallying cry for those who seek to tear down our democracies.”
Someone in the State Department had to make the decision to inform Secretary Blinken about the swastika found in the elevator — revealing the priorities of the Biden State Department.
Why would anyone in the State Department think that Blinken — with all the issues that he has to deal with while in India — would take time out of his day to deal with such a trivial issue.
Is “Nazism” really a serious threat to “our democracies — so much so that Blinken discusses “Nazi” activity in every country he visits?
During World War II, Ezra Pound — the celebrated American author and thorn in the side of the communist-friendly FDR administration — once observed, “Democracy is now currently defined in Europe as a country run by Jews.”
And Corneliu Zela Codreanu — the “notorious” Romanian nationalist — explained exactly why Jews preferred democracy: “Democracy destroys the unity of the Romanian nation, dividing it among political parties, making Romanians hate one another, and thus exposing a divided people to the united congregation of Jewish power at a difficult time in the nation’s history. This argument alone is so persuasive as to warrant the discarding of democracy in favor of anything that would ensure our unity — or life itself. For disunity means death.”
National Socialism did what “democracy” could never do — it unified the German-speaking people against the destructive and demoralizing “culture” of the Jewish-dominated Weimar Republic — a time that Jews still look back on affectionately — upon which the degenerate musical “Cabaret” is based.
And before National Socialism, it was Christianity that unified the German people — another “evil” that is a threat to Jewish democracy — or is to Jewish supremacy?
