I ‘m writing this from memory so it may sound silly. Other races have been slaves throughout history. White slaves were particularly sought after in Rome. In England, homeless children, whose parents died, or couldn’t afford them were rounded up, held in locations until a ship came to America and sold or given to others to raise and used as servants or as we were taught in school: Indentured servants. Parents in debt sometimes sold or gave their children away in payment for the debt. Some had good masters and others did not. Even White women were preferred in the harems of the Arabian countries. In schools , as an example of how we were lied to about history , we were taught that children were given to another person to pay a debt, that the child worked off it and learned a trade. Don’t bother looking up what is going on in Africa.

Taylor would say that our involvement in slavery was not a sin and I agree with ‘why’ he is making this point.

If slavery in the USA was sinful then I do not see how it could be our sin as we were not the ones importing and enslaving the blacks.
All we did was provide a humane system, where slaves who had ambition could buy their own freedom (even Toni Morrison conceded this was true) and everyone else received cradle-to-the-grave care in exchange for next to no work: As Jared Taylor relates, Frederick Law Olmsted and other antebellum sources found that a slave was only about a third as productive as a freed worker in the North, and there was a Southern proverb that “it takes two slaves to help a third do nothing”.
Perhaps you have heard of this, but I saw accounts from a book written in the early 20th century consisting of interviews with the last surviving former black slaves and many of them considered slavery to have been superior to freedom, for when blacks were slaves they were not being mass incarcerated for their crimes or finding themselves unable to afford healthcare.
Though this only applies to Whites who owned black slaves. I fully expect that the many blacks who bought their “brethren” in bondage, and the many Jews who owned slaves–supposedly 40% of Jews in the USA were slaveholders as of 1848–created an inhumane and sadistic system for their slaves, resulting in the alleged atrocities that we were all taught.
