In the West, it is taken as historical fact that Genghis Khan and the Mongol invaders of Europe from the East were racial Asians. However, the notion that they were Asian didn’t arise until the 18th Century in western Europe–the Russians themselves never believed it, and there is no evidence whatsoever that the Mongolian people themselves ever believed it.
Dr. Matthew Raphael Johnson has done a recent podcast where he goes into fascinating detail debunking this long-held legend. While there certainly are a small number of Europeans with some asiatic admixture, it did not come from this mythic Mongol invasion.
Dr. Johnson makes the following points:

-Mongols were Scythians from eastern Russia, Siberia
-Rus, Slav, Avars, Scythian used interchangeably
-Marco Polo referred to the Scythians
-Cossacks are the closest descendants of the Mongols
-Only the Scythians had an empire large enough to field such an army
-Orthodox Church benefited from Mongol occupation
-Muscovites welcomed the Mongol occupation
-Anti-Russian writers concocted the Asian Mongol theory
-No asian artifacts from the Mongol occupation
-Sarmatians were proto-Slavic peoples
-Mongols used Scythian metalwork
-Eastern Scythians were dominant in China

Lies, Genghis Khan descendant Timur also had red hair and red beard but as genetic exams on his body have shown and based on the reconstruction of his face from his skull (You can see it on wiki) he was mostly asian.
Genghis Khan and the early mongol were pure asian like the modern day ones, there was a lot of mixing with half-breeds turkic tribes so there would be some typical caucasian traits like blonde or red hair every once in a while.
There is no contemporary source that show Genghis Khan as a red haird and grey eyed man.
The only people like that were maybe some of his mixed descendants but even there it was only a few characteristics and not the whole phenotype.
I’m confused, if the ancient Mongols were Aryans then what did these white skinned Mongols call the yellow skinned tribes??

Very interesting, I suppose there is no evidence of Mongol Empires or that the Khan was “mongoloid” if we discount the Far Eastern Historical account. I mean it is very easy to believe that the Temujin the common had red hair and glittering green eyes, if we discount the Yuan Dynasty portraits of the Khan whose sponsorship were Genghis Khan’s own grandchildren.
When there’s no real genetic evidence, I suppose it’s easy to ignore the claims of 16 million Chinese who believe themselves descendant of this person and that his Y-Chromosome is potentially identified as C-M217, when no Russians claim to be the descendant of a Mongol.

I suppose it’s easy to take the word of a fair-skin Persian historian with possible Merovingian DNA connection, named Rashid Al-Din (who was born at least a decade after the Khan’s death), if you have no understanding of the ancient traditional or modern Chinese character system.

It is a 3 picture character. It is a vessel, eight, mouths. It is describing NOAH’s ARK. Similarly, the word for “desire” is a woman between 2 trees. The character for the “devil” is a picture of a living being, surrounding a man in a garden with a secret in his heart. If you are truly interested in the truth, there is no need to erase Asians from their historical place. I am not Chinese or Mongol.

You have committed many logical fallacies. Just because millions of people believe something isn’t proof that it is true. There are millions of White people who believe that they have Native America indian ancestry but do not. And just because Genghis Khan may have been White does not mean that all of his descendants would also be White. In fact, the vast majority of Indians who live in India are descendants of the ancient Aryans who ruled over India thousands of years ago. Their ancestor is White but they are not. The same is true of the Egyptians. All people who live in Egypt today are descendants of the original White Egyptians, even though today they are not White. The entire Middle/Near East was White at one time, including the north coast of Africa. That’s the history of most civilizations have gone.
