“Last week, the drag performer/contemporary Christian musician Flamy Grant took the No. 1 position on iTunes’ Christian music charts in the top songs and top albums categories.
Perhaps at least part of Grant’s rapid rise up the charts came as a response to a tweet from Christian musician and former GOP congressional candidate Sean Feucht, who wrote that “these are truly the last days” when addressing Grant’s collaborative single with singer Derek Webb, “Good Day.”
Feucht’s message was met with a backlash on social media by people who indicated they would offer their full support to Grant. By the end of the week, Grant’s debut album, Bible Belt Baby, which was originally released in October 2022, was iTunes’ top Christian album.
“I love that what started as a degrading tweet from a conservative worship leader has turned into a way for queer people to see themselves represented in Christian music,” Grant told Newsweek.
In his Twitter message, Feucht mistakenly referred to [Derek] Webb as a former worship leader. Webb has never served in such a role, though he was once a longtime member of the popular Christian band Caedmon’s Call. Grant, however, was a worship leader for 22 years and told Paste magazine recently that she was leading worship up until last year.
“The evangelical faith I was raised in is, sadly, founded entirely on fear and buried in shame,” Grant told Newsweek. “I believe in the expansive power of love to cast out fear.”
On Twitter, Grant has addressed her love of Christian music, noting it was the only genre she was allowed to listen to while growing up. She also expressed her appreciation for her fans catapulting “Good Day” up the Christian song charts while also pushing Bible Belt Baby to the No. 1 spot, where it is still sitting.
For his part, Webb has promoted Grant on his social media accounts and called for his fans to continue to spread Grant’s music and message. “This story is just getting started,” he tweeted Sunday. “Let’s keep the support for @FlamyGrant STRONG, friends.”
Grant indicated to Newsweek that she doesn’t believe all the recent attention she’s received is solely due to Feucht.
“I think one of the reasons my song resonated with people is because people are tired of all the religious gatekeeping, and ‘Good Day’ is an anthem of inclusion,” she said.
She continued: “I’m so grateful to everyone who is sharing my music, and I hope it does a small part to drown out the message of exclusion and disgust for queer people that has come to be a defining marker of conservative American Christianity.”

Firstly, as someone who still has an “ear” in judeo-christianity (my entire family and x-friends are all jew loving Evangelicals), “Christendom’s” tolerance of homosexuality is still a minority. Yes, we are seeing more and more denominations accepting and allowing of homosexuals into their fold — United Methodists; Unitarian Universalists; Episcopalians …….. but as far as the Mainline Denominations – the Calvary Chapels et., al., of the world, they are still acting as if they are intolerant of the sin. Although, they of course do their own Virtue Signaling with the adage — God loves the sinner but hates the sin — propaganda.

There was a time not too long ago where when I would find something nefarious, I would always dig for the jew. The adage — Every Single Time — still holds true for the most part.

I’m still learning about scripture, as it takes the mind a while to adjust to the old language used, and I’m reading it slowly to absorb the message. So it’s hard to tell if their biblical workaround for being gay holds water or not; “you can be gay (attracted to the same sex involuntarily), you just can’t have gay sex”.
Matthew 5:27-28 mentions how Christ said adultery is committed in the heart when a man looks at a woman “to lust for her”, homosexuality falls under the umbrella of adultery to many Christians, which begs the question: is homosexual attraction or “lust”, like a man lusting for a woman, a form of adultery in the heart? So their workaround of simply avoiding same-sex ‘relations’ won’t work?

I waited a few days because I wanted to respect your request. So, I waited a few days and then when no one responded, I felt it was Ok to then respond. When I said, “no one was biting…” that was just a stupid way of saying that it didn’t seem anyone was interested in replying to your comment. So sorry!
Let me jump straight to the “Lust” issue.
Judeo-Christians love this verse because they want christians to believe that it is IMPOSSIBLE not to sin. They believe in Penal Atonement and part of this narrative is that the Follower of Jesus Christ, even after becoming “Born-Again” and a “New Creation in Christ” is still a wretched sinner, who has no impulse control and will always sin because we have an evil sin nature. They say that our sins are simply “covered”. They will even go so far as to suggest that Jesus Himself “hides” our sins from God. So, that we can Sin and God doesn’t see our sin because our sin is being hidden by Jesus. This is what they teach about Salvation and the Atonement. They call it Eternal Security, or Once Saved Always Saved.
So, they use this Lust passage to prove their point because they know that 99% of heterosexual men are attracted to women. Which is absolutely outrageous because God designed us this way! Why should we be ashamed for something God wired us with?
There is nothing wrong with being attracted to women. It’s normal. It’s Testosterone that God created. If man had difficulty being attracted to women, the world could never be “fruitful and multiply”.
They will ask you, “have you ever been attracted to a woman?” As a way of then suggesting that you just committed sin in your heart. And since you committed sin in your heart; then you are just a day away from actually committing the actual act. So, you are a sinner and will always be a sinner and there is nothing you can do about it except to embrace their sick, twisted version of Cheap Grace. We must believe in a jesus that can’t actually REMOVE sin from our lives. They want you to sin and keep sinning and believe that this is exactly what God wills for your life. This is exactly what the Adversary wants. Not God.
David and Bathsheba is the perfect illustration of how this whole “Lust” issue should be taught and understood.
When David first noticed Bathsheba for her beautifulness, that was not sin. That is normal male behavior. Especially when we are young and our hormones (Testosterone) are at their highest levels.
Here is the verse — “…And from the roof he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to behold….”
Right there, no problem. David stumbles upon a woman who is naked. Naked!!! And somehow we are not supposed to have a thought of sexual attraction??? Give me a break. This was not sin. This was normal behavior for a young man in his prime.
What happened next was the sin.
“…So David sent and inquired about the woman….” Still, no sin. This is normal behavior. David could take multiple wives, so why not this woman he just saw naked.
No sin, yet.
Then David finds out that Bathsheba is married.
Here comes the sin — “…Then David sent messengers, and took her; and she came to him, and he lay with her…”
This is when David’s normal sexual desires turns wicked. He lay with another man’s wife. That was the sin.
Being attracted to a woman is not sin. It is normal. Now jump to the late 20th century and girls and women are dressing like whores. It David’s day, the women in public were covered. David saw Bathsheba NAKED! When we see a girl or a woman naked it will be NORMAL for the body to then react. Unless we are blind. It’s NORMAL. It’s a chemical process that happens in the body in which God created. We are to control those impulses for sure. But we also need help from the opposite sex. Why how a woman dresses was so important in Jesus’ day. Another reason why the Adversary has loosed the morals of our people. Look at the history of the bathing suit as a perfect example. Look how our women dress today. It’s shocking.
Next — homosexuality. This is my opinion, and I would hope others as well — in regards to homosexuals — To try and compare Heterosexuals with Homosexuals is Apples and Oranges.
In other words ………… just the idea that a man can be attracted to another man and this not be a sin unless one acts on it is blasphemy. You can’t compare a man who is attracted to a female in the same vein as a man attracted to another man. Apples and Oranges in my opinion. God designed man to be sexually attracted to women. This is Normal. This is NOT sin. God did not design man to be sexually attracted to other men. This is not normal. This is of the Devil. This is a PERVERSION of how God designed Men. So the thought itself is sin because it is not God’s will.
I have dealt with this “Lust issue” for over 20 years. When I broke out of the judeo-christian churches over 20 years ago — it was primarily over the false teaching of Once Saved Always Saved. This was a few years before I stumbled upon the Jewish Question and the Race Issue.
For 5 years or so, I was trying to find a Brick and Mortar Evangelical Church that rejected OSAS and embraced what I believe to be true about Salvation that Eternal Life is Conditional.
So, as I battled with my family and friends and pastors, teachers, authors over this issue — the ONE constant was their usage of the Lust Passage to affirm their Salvation Theory and Disprove mine. So, it doesn’t surprise me at all that the Pharisees are doing the same thing but with regard to Homosexuality.
They are twisting that “Lust” passage to mean something that it is not. I believe that “Lust” passage should be understood in light of the word “To Covet”. Being sexually attracted to a potential spouse is not Sin. To be sexually attracted to another man’s wife is Covetousness. This is Lust. But just having a sexual desire for a woman is not sin. How are we supposed to marry??? It doesn’t make any sense.
But being attracted to another man’s wife and then plotting to have her ……. that is the sin. That is Lust — Covetousness.
Again, their whole objective is to get you to believe that Jesus only saves us in Fiction and not Fact. They always say — “We are still sinners, just forgiven sinners”.
When the truth is the opposite. Jesus came to REMOVE our sin in FACT, not Fiction. To live Holy lives, pleasing to God. “For without Holiness, no one will see the Lord.” — Hebrews.

Interesting that “Cain” is mentioned in this passage in Jude. When we think of Sodom and Gomorrah, the popular teaching is the city was wicked because of Sexual Immorality i.e., Homosexuality etc.

As for how i am very angry with a council house project that was neither needed nor wanted they have made things worse put flammable polystyrene cladding on under protest they ripped out good roof felting replaced with cheap rubbish cause water to leak ruining property – loft was covered in slate dust slate chippings they did work that never needed doing but you try telling them and the council which I have told them what i think of them after getting stuck in the leg with slate shards slate dust causing health issues and property damage.
